I really have been busy!!!!!!!!

When I last left the blog, I was waiting on news as to whether Kev had won his race on the Sunday and OF COURSE he did. Two wins in 2 weeks he is on a role. This Saturday sees him do a long race of 147Klms, so Good Luck Kev!!!!!!!!!
I have been to the gym 6 times now and I really am enjoying it - so heres to a new habit.
I spent last weekend in Daylesford at a 2 day scrapping retreat with Pauline and Shelley and had a ball despite the fact the food was average, got lots done but I havent worked out how to put pics in yet so the LO's will have to wait.
The only real down side to the weekend away was that I missed Alyce coaching her Under 11 netball side to a win 19 to3 and also missed her play her first game in Under17's which they also won, so I am looking forward to this Saturday.
I have also spent some time this week looking for a venue for my next scrapping retreat and it looks like I may have found one today, so fingers crossed all will be revealed in the next few days.
I think thats about it from me for now
Regards
Karen

I've kept my promise

I may not blog every day or every second day but I will definitely try to do this at least a couple of times a week.
The last few days have been busy with my first Curves workout which was good, a great dinner with some wonderful girlfriends, thanks Jules, Em and Karen for a night of fun and then last night took Alyce and some friends to the pictures and instead of going home I did something I havent done before, went to the pictures on my own. I saw Blades of Glory and although it was corny it was funny, I sat in the pics laughing all by myself.
I was also able to get the tax records ready for the taxman while having a wonderful chat on-line with my wonderful friend Kate in Tennant Creek.
Kev is away in Hamilton and Port Fairy racing but unfortunately yesterday he got a puncture and didnt finish the race, I am sure he will be raring to go today.
Alyce's holidays are just about finished but I cant say she is looking forward to going back to school.
She seems to like her bed lots............must be something about being a teenager.

Well I will try and keep it updated

I started this blog so long ago, I had nearly forgotten that I had it.
Wasn't till a good friend (thanks Chel) asked if I had one that I thought about it again.
It was also her wonderful story of weight loss that prompted me to think about using the blog as a
way of tracking what I hope to be as my own weight loss journey.
Might keep the vital statistics to myself for awhile but will definitely let everyone know how I am going. Even rejoined a gym tonight as the last time went a little haywire with the moving of jobs.

This blog will not only plot the weight loss journey but lots of fun things too like how my wonderful husband came home with another GOLD medal for his bike riding pursuits on the weekend.
How my very grown up fourteen year DD is extremely excited about taking her first leap into coaching an under 11 netball team and of course the goings on of my on-line shop that this blog is named after, with lost of exciting things coming along.

If you have read this far thanks, not sure how many will visit but this will be a fun journey for me as I have never really kept a diary as such before.

See you soon
